Where are you based?

We operate from Johannesburg, South Africa, with a 170sqm fully-equipped photography studio. We also offer on-location shoots throughout the country.

What types of photography do you specialise in?

We offer a wide range of commercial photography services including:

Do you shoot on location or only in studio?

We do both. Our studios are ideal for controlled lighting and consistency, but we also shoot on location when needed, especially for lifestyle or branding shoots,

Can you accommodate high-volume catalogue shoots?

Yes. We are fully equipped with the infrastructure, systems, and team to handle large-scale shoots efficiently—even thousands of products under tight deadlines.

What are the image specifications for Amazon and Takealot?

As preferred image suppliers for both Amazon and Takealot, we follow their image guidelines meticulously. For Amazon, the first image must be a clean white-background image, followed by styled, lifestyle, or infographic images. Amazon and Takealot also has specific resolution and format requirements which we meet as standard.

What file formats will I receive?

We typically deliver high-resolution JPEGs as well as a reduced web-optimised size for use online and can also provide PNGs, TIFFs, or social media optimised versions depending on your requirements. They are delivered via dropbox after the shoot.

Can you shoot 360-degree product images or videos?

Yes, we offer 360-degree product photography and videos for platforms that support interactive viewing. This is especially popular for fashion, electronics, and jewellery.

Do you provide editing and retouching?

Yes, all final images are professionally edited, basic editing with colour correction and exporting in client format and crop. We do not offer retouching services.

How do I book a shoot?

Simply reach out via our contact page or email us. We’ll schedule a briefing call to discuss your needs, deadlines, and budget.

What is your turnaround time?

Turnaround times vary depending on the scale and complexity of the shoot. For standard product shoots, we usually deliver within 5–7 business days. Large catalogue shoots may require more time, but we always work within client deadlines.

What do you need from me before the shoot?

We require a brief outlining your expectations, image requirements, brand guidelines (if applicable), and reference images if you have a specific style in mind. For product shoots, products need to be delivered to our studio, clean and ready to shoot.

Can I attend the shoot?

Yes, clients are welcome to attend, especially for styled or branding shoots. For high-volume product photography, most clients prefer remote approvals to save time.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing depends on the type of shoot and number of images. We offer hourly, half-day, and full-day rates. For bulk product shoots, we offer sliding scale pricing depending on the quantity of items.

Do you offer packages?

No we do not offer packages. Our services provide tailored quotes based on your specific requirements.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept EFTs (bank transfers) and require a 50% deposit to secure your booking. Final payment is due before delivery of the final images.

Do you offer food or drink styling?

Yes. Styled Bites Co., our in-house food styling arm, works closely with us to create compelling, on-brand food and beverage imagery.

Do you offer models or props for lifestyle shoots?

We can source professional models and provide props depending on your needs. Let us know during the briefing if you'd like this included in your quote.

Do you offer image storage or backups?

Yes. We keep your files archived for a one month. If you would like us to keep your images for longer chat to us about our paid backup service.
